Rome and Juliet had it all wrong

I was just reminded of one of my favorite examples of why communication is so important in any relationship… Because otherwise people die.

Romeo and Juliet, supposedly one of the greatest love stories of ally time, would never have happened if the couple had bothered to make sure that they were on the same page with each other. Sure, they sent the priest out wi the info, but, seriously? You’re going to fake your own death and not tell that to your beloved in person?

Forsooth!

And for that reason I have never found the story all the wonderful. If you’re going to pretend to off yourself, you dern well better post it on Facebook or something so we don’t panic.

What lessons have you learned through classic literature?
